1000 days for the planet - Cyanide Laced Fish

Bali, Indonesia

We are filming in an attempt to promote better fishing techniques for the ornamental fisherman of Les Village in Bali, Indonesia.  The problem began in the 1980's, when Philippine fisherman brought cyanide to Indonesia to catch a large volume of fish.
We also met Made Parti, a former cyanide fisherman, who has turned into an instructor for the new methods.

The problem in this is who receives the most financial benefit from the fishing. If the fisherman receives a fair price for the fish, he will employ the proper method. If not, he will use the easiest and often most damaging technique. Made is moving in the right direction. Will others follow. ....?
